i've gained a lot more respect for the movement after watching this documentary. vanguard does a great job; i saw their doc on oxycontin, which is also very good, about a year ago.
this is the first thing i've seen about OWS that doesn't simply trivialize it, judge its participants from the outside, besides maybe the daily show. too often, by the media as much as by my peers, the movement is thought of and portrayed as a cluster of lazy hippies, whining mooches with no message, etc etc. watching this documentary filled me with anger regarding these ignorant, bigoted sentiments. i can't say i agree with all the ideals and methods of OWS, but goddammit, something needs to fucking be done.
